A former 'Theme Park' artist who has been painting and drawing for nearly forty years, award winning Horror Artist Jerrod Brown produces everything from murals to illustrations, from monstrous portraiture to genre book covers. Currently residing with his wife and daughter in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to producing original acrylic on canvas paintings straight out of his home studio, Jerrod also sells his paintings and prints at various galleries and conventions.

Inspired by a multitude of horror movies and the artwork of Basil Gogos found on the covers of the classic genre magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland. His love of all things horror simply screams from the canvases of his darkly wonderful works. Being strictly a traditional artist, Jerrod strongly advocates the use of brush and palette over the use of computer and Wacom boards. His artistic creations contain a unique style not found in “cookie-cutter” digital work.

Jerrod has painted covers for Sonar4 Publications, Wicked East Press, eTreasures Publishing and Bluewater Productions. He is also working on his own book tentatively titled 'Horror Art of Jerrod Brown' which is currently in development.
